A recent survey by the consumer organisation Which into peoples satisfaction of buying windows from various companies found that the big multinationals scored an average of less than 60% satisfaction rating, local independent companies scored higher with 83%.

As a small independent installer of double glazed windows, doors and conservatories we rely on people's word of mouth recommendations. Our company is set up to achieve this.

This is how we aim to achieve it:

1. Every member of staff and installer is employed directly by the company, apart from some specialist skills including electrical work, plastering and additional brick layers as required; who are contracted as and when we need their skills. We do not take on contractors to rush work, because our ethos is that if a job is worth doing its worth doing well.
2. We do not use self employed salesmen who are only interested in their own commission - Simon Wade will come out and help you design your requirements and decide what is best for you and your home.
3. The sales process will normally include a site visit lasting approximately 20 - 30 minutes to ascertain your requirements and then we will prepare a detailed sales quotation based on the information discussed.
4. The quotation will be posted to you or available for you to collect from our showroom in Temple Street, Rugby.
5. Please let us know if we have the correct specifications or if there are any style, design, colour or quantity changes required.
6. If you are happy to accept the quotation, we will arrange for the full manufacturing survey to be carried out, ask you to sign a contract and a 'Deposit Protection Insurance Certificate'. This certificate guarantees the 25% deposit we require and registers the 10 year guarantee with Network Veka. Your deposit is immediately protected.
7. The products are manufactured and a provisional date set for the installation.
8. We will contact you a few days before the installation date to confirm an accurate time for installation. You can, of course, let us know if this date is convenient or if there is a more suitable day.
9. Our installation programme is affected
by a number of things including the amount of work we are undertaking at any one time, the weather and other unforeseen
events;occasionally even our best laid plans will go astray.
10. On the day of the installation we will arrive and use dust sheets and low tack plastic film on the stairs etc... if necessary. Our installers are equipped with all the battery operated tools and access equipment they need. They will move
any furniture that is needed, but we would ask you to move any precious ornaments etc...
11. On completion of the work, the installers will demonstrate the operation of any locks, window catches etc...Please take your time to familiarise yourself with these, and ask as many questions as necessary to ensure you
are completely satisfied. The installers will give you the invoice and we ask that you pay them by cheque or cash - which is independently protected through your deposit guarantee operated by Network Veka - they are authorised to do this.
12. Your guarantees and registration with the local authority (VEKA Assure) will be sent to you along with a Customer Satisfaction Questionnaire. We appreciate all feedback from our customers in order to continually improve and maintain our processes and services, therefore please tell us what you think.
13. All that's left is for you to sit back, relax and enjoy the good looks, added security and reap the rewards of the energy saving benefits making your home easier to heat and efficiently retain warmth. We know you will notice the difference.
14. Don't forget your 10 year guarantee, in the unlikely event that you need it.
