WHAT’S DIFFERENT BETWEEN BAY AND BOW WINDOWS?

The biggest difference is that a bay window will always have a base to it whereas a bow typically doesn’t. A bow window will usually have a fancy timber constructed base below with a gallows bracket instead of a brick base, and more often than not, they will have a canopy roof which sits underneath the house soffit. The windows can have two to nine sides to them but they still follow the same rule.
